The Hotel Laudinella is a very nice hotel located on the southern edge of St. Moritz. St. Moritz is 3.5 - 4 h by train from Zurich Airport. Accommodation, as well as breakfasts and dinners and the scientific sessions, are in the Hotel Laudinella.
You can receive a good impression of the hotel rooms and its many services, including its five restaurants, on their website.
You can check the schedules and make reservation on the website from the Swiss Railway. Just type in "Flughafen Zurich" and "St. Moritz". When you arrive in St. Moritz, the Laudinella Hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the train station, a white minivan with a blackbird Laudinella logo. If you call the hotel, they'll send it (+41 81 836 0000).
Driving from Zürich takes about 3 h, but be aware that one goes over the Julier Pass (2284 m), one of the highest alpine passes kept open year round (and one of the most beautiful). Traversing the pass may require chains or even be briefly closed on snowy days.
Hotel rooms are only CHF 310.00 per person and night for doubles, and CHF 185.00 per person and night for singles. There is a fee to be paid for half-pension plan of CHF 78.00 (breakfast and dinner) per person and day. Dining together is an important part of the meeting, so registration without the half-pension plan is not allowed.
